Resource Submission Policy

To be considered for inclusion or linking within the Resources section of the New Orleans Council on Aging website, all submissions must comply with the following policy requirements:

 

Eligibility Criteria

1. Non-Commercial Content
   Submitted websites or articles must not promote, advertise, or sell any products or services, regardless of whether they are related to the subject matter.

   • Exception: This requirement does not apply to recognized partner agencies of the New Orleans Council on Aging (e.g., AARP).

2. Credible Source Requirement
   Articles authored by freelance writers will only be considered if the content is published on the official website of a reputable nonprofit organization or government agency.

   • The publishing organization must be widely recognized and trusted in areas such as elder care, health, or other topics relevant to older adults.

Submissions that do not meet these criteria will not be considered for inclusion. If you meet this policy, please send your request to Martin Huber at mhuber@nocoa.org.
